Le but de l'Association Trencavel est de réhabiliter et de porter à la connaissance d'un public national et international à travers documents, conférences, débats, expositions, médias, l'oeuvre de la famille Trencavel à travers les siècles et, plus particulièrement, de retracer l'existence du plus fameux de ses membres :

The aim of the Trencavel association is to rehabilitate and put to the knowledge of a National and International public through documents, conferences, debates, exhibitions, medias, the work of the Trencavel Family throughout the centuries and, more particularly, to retrace the life of the most famous of their members:
